This 2006 Watercolor returns the dusty density and luminous suggestion of a sandstorm in the Egyptian desert. The work focuses on the almost total dissolution of figurative contours, translating the force of the natural event into a soft and enveloping atmospheric modulation.
The chromatic structure is punctuated by broad fields in warm tones of ochre, sand, and golden amber in the upper part, fading toward the center. On the left and at the base emerge darker and more material concentrations of burnt umber and brown, balanced on the right by a luminous gap where pale yellow transparencies and slight cerulean shades surface.
A graphic work with an almost square format, distinguished by an intimate and meditative tonal balance, ideal for enhancing contemporary living environments, professional studios, or collections focused on atmospheric and abstracting landscapes.
