Watercolor – Towards summer
Created in 2010, this work returns the thermal impact of the summer season through a sharp horizontal division of the composition. The landscape is transformed into a dialogue between the heat of the earth and the freshness of the distant heights.
The foreground is an explosion of yellows, ochres, and oranges evoking sun-parched fields. This warm band clashes halfway up with the dark green hills, which act as a transition toward a luminous sky crossed by cerulean blue glazes. A sunny and airy painting, ideal for warming the atmosphere of living rooms, dining rooms, or entrances.
