This 2005 Watercolor investigates the theme of memory and ancestral bond through an evanescent figuration dense with suggestion. The work brings out three totemic and silent presences from the support, delineated through overlapping glazes, drips, and a dense, scratched graphic texture.
The composition is marked vertically by the rhythm of the three figures: the warm luminosity of the golden earths, ochre, and burnt sienna in the upper part contrasts with the deep tones of brown, charcoal, and slight bluish transparencies at the base. The controlled fusion of water and pigment gives the surface an archaic and material consistency.
