Watercolor – Sienese countryside #6
This 1997 watercolor utilizes an extremely elongated horizontal format to capture the infinite spatiality of the Crete Senesi. The work develops on overlapping horizontal bands alternating plowed fields, groves, and distant hilly profiles.
The clear light and fluid color applications blur the contours, returning an airy and vibrant landscape. Ideal as a decorative element in contemporary design environments.
