Watercolor – Tramonto invernale
This original watercolor offers an unusual and evocative vision of Fiorella’s countryside: the winter landscape. The artwork plays entirely on color temperature to convey the crisp and freezing air of the season.
The hills in the foreground are painted with thick diagonal patches of dark gray and Prussian blue, interspersed with white stripes that evoke snow or freezing fog wedged in the valleys. Contrasting with this cold rigor, the upper portion of the paper is illuminated by a saturated and vibrant yellow sky, typical of clear winter sunsets.
A powerful and edgy painting, with a very modern graphic aesthetic. Recommended for those seeking decisive atmospheres and saturated opposing colors.
