This 2002 watercolor translates onto paper the optical and visual illusion of a misty landscape. The composition divides space between a solid earthy base in tones of yellow and brown and a turbulent sky with hints of blue and purple.
The fusion of colors creates an effect of warmth and distance justifying the title of the work. A medium-format painting, excellent for adding depth and mystery to environments.
