Watercolor – Valdorcia #7
With “Valdorcia #7”, Fiorella chooses an unusual vertical (portrait) format to describe the extent of the Tuscan landscape. This framing enhances the overlapping of the reliefs, creating a strong sense of altitude and distance.
The hills chase each other upwards like theatrical backdrops, alternating warm ochre tones with musky greens. The valleys hold blended brushstrokes of white light, similar to morning mists. Rows of cypresses follow the slopes of the land, tracing dark lines that accompany the gaze up to the clear, light sky.
A structured and elegant artwork. The vertical shape makes it perfect for decorating niches, corridors, or to be placed next to doors and windows.
